During a 3 week visit to Ecuador, we had the opportunity to visit a new community of racers and their families. It was such an honor to be welcomed in to their tight knit group and be treated with such respect. Everybody was amazing and it made the already unforgettable trip even better. It was incredible to see so much enthusiasm and excitement built up for one single event. The amount of work and pride they applied into promoting their sport was awesome and it was amazing to have the opportunity to be apart of it.
New to Ecuador, we were excited to explore a new country and a different culture. However, much to our surprise, it is not far off from what we are used to seeing in the States. Of course there were some differences, but we never felt out of place or uncomfortable. The country was beautiful and the people there were so welcoming and friendly. The whole experience was simply unforgettable and we can't wait to go back to Ecuador.
We would especially like to thank Roberto and Jimena Ycaza and their kids Alejandra and Robertito. They made all this possible and treated us like family. They are an extraordinary family and have proved to be an integral part of ATV racing in Ecuador. Thank you all so much for everything, it was amazing.
